Testimonials
May's passion for encouraging youth to be curious, ask questions, and find topics and people in history who speak to them through her podcast is truly inspirational. It takes an immense amount of behind-the-scenes coordination and background research, as well as digital know-how, to bring her podcast to life for audiences in Kitchener-Waterloo and beyond, and May is a professional through and through. While I am inspired by what I have seen from May so far, I am even more excited to see where she will take us fans of Changemaker’s next!

May would not simply regurgitate information, but rather go right to primary sources to unveil fresh and untold perspectives that challenge conventional paradigms and comforts. Some presentations absorbed over 50 hours of her time, just in research, preparation, and interviewing. Then she would personally craft the
podcast—assembling complex multi-track mixes of the interviewer, interviewee, music, and sound effects. Her underlying motive propelling all these fantastic presentations is to help others. Help others think. Help others be inspired. Help others make positive changes.

A big thumbs up to May Cooper for making history more vibrant and interesting! I listened to Episode 18 about the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic with Professor Bogaert and feel that May's dialog and questions were right on point. The podcast was very intriguing especially in light of our current pandemic and I look forward to listening to more from May!
